Poems

Coast line

To all those

who see themselves

in the coast line,

broken and longing.

Remember the tide

moves in

moves out, slowly

guiding sand further

up the dunes.

Remember the life

dancing inside

foamy waters

of crashing waves.

Remember the holding

we feel

in the moment of

suspension

underneath the surface.

Remember everything

between the sky

and the sea

welcomes you,

home.

Boys

The boys with their bikes

practice

what came before them;

kicking

shouting

spitting

destiny unfolding.

They do not know, yet

how trees weather storms

together, in

practice.
